Who we are

SPIRE BALTIC SIA was established in 1998. Most of our activities are concentrated in and around Riga. We own and manage office, residential, and retail properties, as well as hold a significant land bank for sale or future development. All of the developed properties in our portfolio have been either renovated or developed as new construction.

From the mid-1980s, SPIRE’s senior management team – first in the US and later in London and Dubai –

has managed hundreds of thousands of square meters of commercial and residential space in Texas, USA; Toronto, Canada; Hyderabad, India and Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Today, the Riga office of SPIRE BALTIC consists of a dedicated group of professionals who manage our properties in a diligent and fair manner.

The building at 15 K. Barona street was originally constructed in 1904 in an eclectic art nouveau style (architect J.Alksnis), and then thoroughly reconstructed in 1998. The building is located in the very centre of Riga, at the crossing of K. Barona and Dzirnavu streets. The original facade and distinctive interior elements of the building — elegant fireplaces, decorative ceiling moldings, wall paintings in the lobby, etc.  — have been preserved during reconstruction, while apartments and offices have been adjusted to modern standards.

BRIVIBAS 171 is a modern office building located at the crossing of Brivibas and Indranu streets, close to the VEF Air bridge. The 6-storey building was constructed in October 2006. On the side facing Brivibas Street the curvilinear facade of the building is wrapped in aluminium and glass and reflects the huge oak tree growing close to the building. On the yard side there is a terrace-type facade that allows both extra light to the building and offers recreational facilities for office employees. Car parking for employees is available in a covered and secured two-level parking garage.

The building at 10 Aldaru Street was erected in 1552 and was used as a granary and a warehouse. Now a modern retail, residential and office building, Aldaru Granary is located in the very heart of Old Riga — between the Swedish Gate and Smilsu Street. In 2002 the building underwent a dramatic reconstruction following the design of the architects from Zaigas Gailes birojs. Historical values of the building — wooden beams, stone walls — were carefully preserved, and when combined with elements of modern architecture, created a unique environment for living and work.

We offer a ground floor level retail space, as well as apartaments and offices in this building. Total leasable area – 576.7 sqm.

4A Mednieku street, Riga



M4A was one of the first modern office buildings in Riga, having been commissioned in 2001. Designed by S. Nikiforovs from architectural firm Nams SIA, M4A is located at 4A Mednieku street, next to JSC Latvenergo main building and within walking distance of more than 20 embassies. The building is today recognized for its stately facade, which is decorated with green Italian granite plates. Car parking for building tenants is available in a covered and secured two-level parking garage.
